Nailah A. Copeland has been a professional pillar in the beauty industry for over 20 years. At the age of 16, she began working in salons in the DC area as a shampoo assistant. By age 17, she obtained her cosmetology license with the state of Virginia while in High School. She began her career behind the chair working in chain salons such as Regis and JCPenny to build her clientele.

   

Nailah moved to the metro Atlanta area after the September 11, 2001 tragedy. Upon her Atlanta arrival she quickly built her clientele much to her surprise. In 2007, she joined the L’Oréal family as part of the Mizani Artist Team. In 2008, she opened the doors to her very own salon.  

In 2017 Nailah advanced her career graduating with honors from the National Trichology Training Institute, where she has had the honor of being asked back to facilitate some of her own independent classes.  In November 2017 she opened Asha’s Trichology Center.

Nailah enjoys participating in many facets of the beauty industry such as New York fashion week, television shows, weddings, hair shows, and much more.  Nailah sets out to use her next twenty years in the beauty industry to help create and motivate others through hair care.
